Aspen Mesa Homeowners Association Meeting
October 30, 2012

Meeting called to order @ 7:43

In attendance: Frank Chudy, Jay Leavitt, Marilyn Cooke, Ann Macleod, Susan Zimmer, Scott Leslie, Nancy Miller, Barbara Brett.

Financial Report:

We have $103,798.60 in the bank. We have $4,615.97 in receivables

Dragonfly Ranch:
We want to thank Lois Evans for her generous donation to the legal expenses incurred.


Backflow Progress:

Michael Josephson is present to give the board an update. His telephone # is 303-720-9841.
At this time there are 6 homeowners who have never responded to the survey request. These homeowners may have a device, but must be inspected to be sure. Please call Michael to set up an appointment. The homeowners association pays for this inspection this year. We want to point out to those homeowners once again, that having a back flow preventer installed in your home is a mandatory state regulation. The board is only following the law. The homeowner association is a water purveyor. The board considers our most important objective to be the maintenance of our water system. We are responsible for supplying to you, as best as we can, clean water.
Those of you that continue to ignore our requests are putting our water system at risk.
We have 15 homeowners who have responded to the survey and have been inspected but still have no backflow device. These folks have been inspected and have no backflow device at the connection. Out of that 15, 4 families are working on it. November 15 is the deadline to have the device installed and re-inspected.


Water System/Leak update:
Currently we have a balance of the total water usage and total water billed. That means water coming in and water going out is reconciled. No leaks!


Architectural Issues:

Nothing to report.
