Aspen Mesa Homeowners Annual Meeting:
August 17, 2020

Meeting called to order at 7:09pm in Barbara Brett's back yard.

In attendance: Pat Henry, Barbara Brett, Tom Fisher, Mark Walker, Susan Zimmer, Danny Popish, Mary Leslie.

Financial report 5/31/2020:
We have $159,178.36 in the bank.
We have $9,211.61 in receivables due.

Architectural Control Guidelines:
The Board asked Tom Fisher to visit the Architectural Guidelines and Design Review Requirements. Tom finished his work and presented his ideas on increasing fees. Barbara Brett made a motion to increase the fees associated with building in our subdivision. The motion was seconded by Tom Fisher and all other board members voted in favor. The new fee schedule will be:

$3,000 New construction deposit. (Fully refundable at the successful completion of the build.)
$750 Remodel construction fee. (Fully refundable at the successful completion of the build.)
$1,500 New construction revegetation deposit. (Fully refundable after the site revegetation is complete.)
$750.00 Remodel revegetation deposit. (Fully refundable after the site revegetation is completed.)

We are reinstating a plan review fee of $250.00 This is not refundable. This will accompany all paperwork and samples needed to meet the design review requirements.
The new guidelines will be posted to the website very soon.

Water:
As of one week ago we were still only using the water in well #1. As the warm weather continues please be diligent of excessive use or leaks.

Water Tank Cleaning:
On August 27, 2020 our water tanks will be cleaned.

Back Flow:
If you have not had your back flow preventor inspected yet, please contact Jim at 274-1402 to make an appointment. Jim wears a mask and is "in and out" of your home as quickly as he can be. Please call and make your appointment. This is a state regulation and a free inspection for you. We will be sending out a constant contact message and include a reminder in the next billing.

Eagle County Weed Management:
Tim Young hosted a representative from Eagle County and some homeowners on a weed presentation by Eagle County. Those that attended had very positive things to say about the event. It is the homeowner's responsibility to control the weeds on your property. Eagle County can fine you for having noxious weeds on your property.

Chickens:
We have a homeowner that will be conducting a survey asking all homeowners if they would be in favor of allowing chickens in AME. Reminder: Chickens are not currently allowed in AME.

No Outlet Signs:
We will be asking the County to put up no outlet signs on streets that have no outlet. We are hoping this helps reduce traffic down those streets by confused motorists.

Architectural Issues:
262 Alto Lane is interested in adding a garage. Danny Popish will contact them to discuss the process for submitting plans for approval.

Old Business:
Cluck and Campise potential adjoining land sale.
Danny Popish will contact Eagle County Planning and Zoning to see what the HOA's position and/or rights are in this situation.

Monthly Meter Reading
This is still a work in progress item for us. We attempted it and ran into technical difficulties.

Next meeting October 12, 2020 at 7:00 pm in Susan Zimmer's garage.

Meeting adjourned at 8:09 pm
