Mesa Estates Homeowners Association Meeting
April
7, 2014
Meeting called to order at 7:13 pm.
In attendance: Barbara Brett, Pat Henry, Scott Leslie, Frank Chudy, Ann MacLeod,
Susan Zimmer, Marilynn Cook.
Financial Report:
We have $62, 648 in the checking account and $65,111 in a money market.
We have receivables of $11,270. Total assets are $139,031.
We have quite a few homeowners that are over 90 days late with payments.
We do charge finance charges for late payments so do expect those to be on
your invoices if you pay late.
SWAPP Signs:
We will be posting signs in the subdivision stating that you are in a drinking
water protection area. These signs are from a grant that the board earned
by focusing in our potential threats to our drinking water and coming up with
things we can to do protect our water from those threats.
Back Flow:
We are sending all homeowners a card to tell you the month in which you need
to have your backflow preventer inspected. When you receive this card please
call the number on the card to make your appointment. HOMEOWNERS PLEASE NOTE
WE WOULD LIKE YOUR COOPERATION. THIS IS FREE TO YOU; THE INSPECTION IS QUICK
AND EASY SO PLEASE CALL TO MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT. As stated in the Jan 8,
2014 you have 30 days upon receipt of the card to make your appointment or
you will be charged a fine of $50.00.
Architectural Issues:
Fischer/Hause has submitted plans for remodel. House is on Fender. Plans are
under review.
New Business:
According to Article VI Amendments' to By Laws; Barbara Brett has so moved
that we continue to waive AMHA Board member's annual dues as originally approved
by the AMHA board in 1981.
The motioned was 2nd by Pat Henry and unanimously by the board.
Next meeting is at Ann MacLeod's house on Monday May 16.
