We have $65,011.78 in savings.
Receivables are $1044.08, with 4 homeowners that still have not paid 1/1/12 invoice.
In reference to situation regarding Down Valley Tavern; with most people not having gone to ER or to the Dr., Drew from the Tavern is offering 20% off coupons to any of the people affected who would like them. Please contact Drew at Down Valley Tavern directly to discuss the offer.

Fire Danger:

A general announcement will be posted on website regarding reverse 911 contact for those without a landline connection. For those that do not access website, two websites for local government contact are pitkinalert.org, or ecalert.org. Please notify them as to your personal preferences for any necessary emergency contact.

Backflow:
Tests began last weekend, and will be continuing. Mike Josephson will be calling all homeowners to schedule appointments for survey of home, and inspection/test of backflow devices.
The H.O.A. will be purchasing a "sludge judge" which will be available for testing depths in septic tanks. More information will follow as to availability and directions for use. Key issues are cleanliness. It is very important to clean tool thoroughly when finished. "Sludge judge" will be available for use after May 1.

Hazardous waste removal is not available. Eagle County landfill has free disposal available for up to 25 select items. Items must be listed on resident certification statement listed on Eagle County website. More information will be available. Drug disposal is also not available off site. Glenwood Springs Police Dept. will accept any unidentifiable or expired drugs for disposal.

Block Party:
Our target date for the Block Party-Neighborhood Garage Sale is the weekend of June 23rd. The dumpster will be on site Saturday and Sunday, and the party will be 4pm to 6pm Saturday afternoon catered by Back Door Catering. If 10 homeowners are interested in participating in neighborhood garage sale, the HOA will advertise. Please contact Nancy Miller at millervista@comcast.net.

We have had some problems with water usage. FAQ:
Am I responsible for excessive water use due to a mechanical, plumbing, or irrigation malfunction? The answer is yes. The HOA is responsible for any water issue from the tap out, and you as the homeowner are responsible for the tap in. Common sources of problems are running, or broken toilets, irrigation leaks, or dripping faucets. Please check yours frequently for these issues.

The meeting adjourned @ 8:30. The next meeting is May 29 @ 7pm at Marilyn Cook's home 263 Caballo.
