Aspen Mesa Homeowners Association Meeting
September 10 , 2012

Meeting called to order @ 6:20

In attendance: Frank Chudy, Susan Zimmer, Ann MacLeod, Nancy Miller, Jay Leavitt, Marilyn Cook, Barbara Brett.

Financial Report:
We have $110,675.53 in checking account.
Ann has proposed taking $65,000 currently in our Alpine Bank account and putting into an account that earns 1.5% interest and still allows us to have access and availability to the money. She thought ING or Ever Bank may have the best rates for that. This proposal was approved by Jay and Frank.

An addition to the Minutes from July 17, 2012
Homeowner Leslie Ramiel attended the meeting to offer her computer knowledge/services to the board with our website. Sorry for the oversight in not including this in the last minutes.

Website:
We have started using Constant Contact; a mechanism for the board to send announcements to the homeowners. Currently we have 100 homeowners and 71 emails.
In the next billing we will once again be asking for your current email address. It is imperative that we have you contact information so we can notify you in case of an emergency. We will not send you regular emails. We will only send you announcements with an urgency; water shut offs and alerts for our subdivision would be such items that would warrant an email.

Dragonfly Ranch:
This was defeated in a unanimous vote by the Roaring Fork Eagle County Planning Commission.
The next course of action for this could be:
1. Withdraw their application.
2. Request a hearing with the Board of County Commissioners' to present the same case that they presented to the RF Eagle County Planning Commission with whatever variations or changes they wish to include.

Block Party:
This Sunday September 16 at the end of Caballo from 3-7. Bring your own lawn chair. Catered by PJ. Thanks to Nancy Miller for her hard work with the arrangements!

Dumpster:
Will be in place Friday at the end of Caballo, please no hazardous material, appliances, tires or paint.

Backflow Progress:
40 homes completed. 14 with NO backflow devices, Michael is waiting for response to quotes sent for devices to be installed.
27 with incorrect back flow devices. 21 Homeowners with NO RESPONSE Ð Michael has sent surveys and gone to the homes knocking on doors, and leaving surveys on the doors.
TO AVOID INTERRUPTION IN YOUR WATER SERVICE, PLEASE RESPOND ASAP TO CRYSTAL RIVER BACKFLOW, MICHAEL JOSEPHSON, TO GET THIS PROJECT COMPLETED AT 303-720-9841. TO THE 21 HOMEOWNERS THAT ARE NOT RESPONDING: THE AMEHOA BOARD HAS UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED STARTING THE PROCESS TO HAVE THE WATER SHUT OFF TO YOUR HOMES IF YOU CONTINUE TO REMAIN NON-COMPLIANT.
