Aspen Mesa Estates Board Meeting
November, 2, 2015
Meeting called to order 7:06

In attendance: Susan Zimmer, Mark Walker, Barbara Brett, Pat Henry, Nancy Miller, Scott Leslie.
Additional attendees: LuAnn Craig.

Financial Report:
a.) We have $61,619.00 in the bank.

b.) All bills are paid.

c.) We have $8,000 in receivables due.

d.) For those of you over 90 days late please note you will be notified in the next week via certified letter that we will be shutting off your water. Please pay your bill.


We do have some homeowners that are 90 days past due. Please remember that you are charged penalty interest for being late. We will be notifying those homeowners by mail regarding water shut off notice dates if the account is not brought to good standing.

Effective 9/1/15 the board has hired a new book keeper. Lu Ann Craig is the owner of The Bookwork's in Carbondale.

Water issues: It would be very beneficial for every homeowner to know where their water meter is. This can help you monitor your usage. We have homeowners' that complain that their water bill is too high. If the water goes through your meter then AMEHA delivered water to you and you used it. Therefore you are responsible to pay for the water you used..


Backflow: We STILL have 8 homeowners that have not contacted Jim Jochem from Atlas Backflow 970-274-1402 for their FREE required BY LAW backflow inspection. For you 8 homeowners, a board member will be placing a flyer on your front door with directions for contacting the inspector. If you do not contact the inspector and have your device inspected by December 2, 2015 the board will move forward with the steps necessary to shut your water off.


EPC Water tank inspection: Our tank passed the state required diver inspection. They recommend we have it done in 5 years.


Architectural Issues: Scott Leslie will add a walkway to connect the house and garage.

Nuzzarello - New home on Paseo is in the works.

Next meeting will be held on December 7.
The agenda will be to review those homeowners still outstanding with the backflow inspections and start the water shut off process. Meeting will be held at Nancy Miller's home 7:00.

Meeting called to order at 7:05 pm.

In attendance: Pat Henry, Barbara Brett, Mark Walker, Marilynn Cook, Nancy Miller, Susan Zimmer, Scott Leslie.
Additional attendees: LuAnn Craig and Yayoi Wakabayashi.

Financial Report: We have 56,170.35 in the bank.
All the bills are paid to date. We have $155.26 in receivables.

Water meter readers: We need an additional person trained to read the water meters. Board member Mark Walker has volunteered. Yayoi will work with Mark to do the October 1, 2015 water meter readings.


Water pump repair: We have not heard whether or not this can be repaired. Scott will follow up.


Water tank inspection: This took place and we are waiting on the official report.


Architectural Issues: This took place and we are waiting on the official report.


New business: The board worked on some updates to the bylaws over the summer. The new amended by laws have been recorded with Eagle County. They will be posted to the website.

The Board has set up a new email address to field general questions. This will be listed on the website in addition to the board members contact information. hoaboard@aspenmesaestates.com
