Aspen Mesa Estates Annual Homeowner Meeting:
January 9, 2017

Meeting called to order at 7:05 pm.

In attendance, Pat Henry, Mark Walker, Susan Zimmer, Marilynn Cook, Lu Ann Craig, Barbara Brett, Nancy Miller and Scott Leslie

Financial Report:
a.) We have $102,179.14 in the bank.
b.) We have $64,382.00 in receivable's due.
With our increase in dues this year we collected more in income (dues, water, trash) than was spent. The excess funds collected will be carried forward to offset future expense.


Back Flow Update:
a.) Believe it or not we still have homeowners that did not get their device tested.
b.) We have called, emailed and even placed letters on those homeowner's doors.
c.) If you are not compliant as of our annual meeting date of Feb 13, 2017 we will announce your name at the meeting and we will give you 30 days to comply or we will begin the process to shut your water off. If you need to schedule your inspection, please call Jim at Atlas Backflow at 970-274-1402.


Water Disruption Protocols:
a.) You should have received with your January billing, the new protocols the board will follow in case of a water emergency or a water shut-off situation.

HOA Owners Information Cards:
a.) Again, thank you for returning them. If you have not please do so. It will help us to notify you in case of urgent situation or emergency.

Water Problems:
We had some issues with the water in December:

1.) We had a situation that the amount of water we were producing was not enough to keep up with the amount we were using. We have a detection system in place that will call 8 people to let them know of a situation like this. Unfortunately, the phone dialer was not working on phone system, so the 8 people were not called. Homeowner's did notice and called EPC and Scott. The system had to be shut down for that repair. The phone dialer has also been repaired.
2.) Next, we had a water outage because a pipe burst at the corner of Vaquero and Vega. Once the leak was found, thanks to EPC we had all parts available to us and the repair was very fast.
All problems are fixed.

Annual meeting is Monday Feb 13, 2017 at the Eagle County Building. Dinner is at 6 followed by the meeting at 7.
