Aspen Mesa Estates Annual Homeowner Meeting:
February 13, 2017

Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm.

In attendance, Mark Walker, Marilynn Cooke, Nancy Miller, Susan Zimmer, Barbara Brett, Pat Henry, Scott Leslie.
Also in attendance is AME Book keeper Lu Ann Craig and Yayoi Wakabayashi.

Financial Report:
We currently have $111,355.00 in the bank.
We have $13,166.61 in receivable's due.
All bills are paid.
We had large water system repair bills in November and December at the cost of $9,000.

Back Flow Report:
The board is still struggling with 100% participation from our homeowners.

This has been a tedious, ongoing process. We will list all non- compliant members in our minutes and give them 30 days to comply before we start the process of shutting the water off. All homeowners must also have a properly working device. If your device failed you must replace that device, have the new one installed and inspected and you must send the board the paperwork showing that your new device is compliant. The device is a Febco 850.

Those homeowners are: Campise, Hjelle, Sullivan, Skutley, Proznek, Limongielli, Metcalf, McKie, Levey, Macloed, Ransford.

The 2017 back flow inspection process will begin again in April.

Water Meter Computer Update:
All meters are read with a computer. Meters will last 20 years before replacing the battery. Battery sends a signal to the laptop that does the reading with the usage of each home. We need a new system to communicate with the reading and the invoicing. Our laptop is old and we need to update our system. One homeowner states that while looking at a new system it would be nice if there was an app where he could see his usage. The committee continues to work on a solution.

Water Issues:
AME had some water problems in November and December. Scott addressed these issues and reports that they are fixed.

The board continues to set funds aside to fix a water tank that is not currently being used.

Scott explains that our working water tanks were inspected by divers and they are clean and functioning well. This inspection is done every 3-5 years.

New protocols to inform homeowners in case of a water emergency are in place. Homeowners will be notified by phone, email or with a note on the door.

Trash Collection:
We currently have a contract with MRI for $25.00 a month. Due to Waste Management being purchased by MRI then by Mountain Waste our prices have been increasing. They have been non-responsive to negotiation of the contract at the $25.00 rate, although that is all we are paying them per home, so we will be changing our service.

The current contract expires April 5. This April 3 will be our last pickup with Mountain Waste. We will enter a new contact with Valley Garbage for $25.00 a month for one 96-gallon trash pick-up and one recycle bin. On or before that date you will have new garbage can and recycle bin.

Open Board Member Position:
Nancy Miller cannot serve her next term so we have an open position on the board.

Tom Fisher is interested and was voted in and appointed to serve a 3-year term.

New Issues:
Dogs - There is a lot of dog poop on the road Please pick up after your dog.

Summer party has been brought up. Expense has been the boards concern for this party.

One homeowner suggests a pot luck.

New homeowner introductions were made.

Winner of the raffle for free annual dues is Jay Leavitt.

Meeting adjourned at 7:58. Next Meeting is Monday April 3 at Mark Walker's home.
