Aspen Mesa Homeowners Meeting:
February 12, 2018

Meeting called to order at 5:20 pm.

In attendance: Marilynn Cook, Barbara Brett, Pat Henry, Susan Zimmer, Scott Leslie, Mark Walker, Tom Fisher and AMHA book keeper Lu Ann Craig

Additions to the agenda - Dog Issue Jody Mack.

Financial Report as of February 12, 2018:
a.) We have $170,768. In the bank.

b.) We have $ 10,308 in receivables.

Back Flow:
We will conduct inspections in April, May and June and we will install the new meter "registers" at the same time..

Water Meter Update:
The "registers" have been ordered. They should be here in March..

New Business:
Horses If you have horses, please keep the horse manure cleaned up.

Janet Boyle had a suggestion to add to the website an area called Board correspondence. The board likes that idea and we will initiate that with our website designer.

Aspen Mesa Estates Annual Homeowner Meeting:

Meeting called to order at 5:20 pm.

Financial Report as of February 12, 2018:
a.) We have $170,768. In the bank.

b.) We have $ 10,308 in receivables.

Water Meters:
The Association has purchased new radio transmitters to be installed onto the existing water meters in your homes. These are called "Registers".

We will be tying the installation of these with the annual back flow device inspections. The inspections will begin April 1 and all devices must be installed by the end of June for us to do the 2nd quarter water meter reading.

For those 2nd homeowners that will not be here at that time, we need to have contact information for someone who can let us in to do this work.

The water meter registers will be approximately $41,500.00. The billing software will be $500.00 to purchase and $99.00 a month.

Water system update:
We will be looking at making some repairs to an old water tank that we have but is not in use.

This winter we had some repairs on Sierra Vista, that work is completed

We have a new computer to read the water meters and new software that will download the meter reading and calculate the amount due for water used. This new software can also report if there is a leak in the house or a leak between the main and the house. We will be much more accountable with our water usage.

Trash Service Update:
Holiday Schedule

Christmas Day • New Year's Day • Memorial Day • 4th of July • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day

If pick up day falls on one of the above holidays, pick up will be one day late for the entire week. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be no change. This will be in effect starting Christmas 2017; Monday, December 25, 2017.

Re-election:
Susan Zimmer, Mark Walker and Marilynn Cook all up for re-election and all were approved for another 3-year term.

Jody Mack - Dog Issue
Jody has expressed concern about vicious dogs off leash attacking dogs while they are with their owners. His dog was attacked and has still not healed. Another homeowner reported a similar incident while walking her dog.

We will report this to the Eagle County Sheriff/Animal Control department and Pat will contact the homeowner.

We encourage homeowners to report these incidents to the Eagle County Sheriff. This is where real change can start.

Winner of the lottery for one year of free association dues is Chase Carter.
