Aspen Mesa Homeowners Meeting:
February 25, 2019

Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm.

In attendance: Barbara Brett, Marilynn Cook, Susan Zimmer, Pat Henry, Tom Fisher, Mark Walker, Scott Leslie.

Financial Report:
a.) We have 111,027.90 in the bank.
b.) Accounts receivables of $13,121.18
c.) All bills are paid to date.

Water report - Scott Leslie:
a.) We fixed some leaks this year. Currently we do not have any leaks.
b.) We replaced the pressure reduce value at the corner of Vega and Vaquero.
c.) We replaced a pump at Well Number 1. The motor went bad. We replaced it and then it went bad 6 months later, but it was under warranty. Same pump went bad twice, so we are looking into why that happened.

Water Projects:
a.) We would like to put a small shed by well #3 to put a chlorinator in. Currently the chlorinator is up by the tank and it is very hard to get to, summer and winter
b.) In the future we are still saving up to do a major water repair on the 2 cement tanks that we do not use.
c.) A homeowner asks: What water pressure your system should be set at? Water pressure should be 60-75 psi.

Back Flow Inspection time is coming. Please expect a call from Jim 970 Ð 274-1402:
a.) We will have the inspection period between April 1 and June 30. We ask that you have your backflow inspected during this time or you will be fined.
b.) Each homeowner is responsible for the cost of a new back flow device in case yours fails.
c.) Responsibility for water leaks Ð Over the last couple of years we have had some very expensive water leaks for homeowners. These are typically caused by sprinklers. One homeowner lost 250,000 gallons of water over 1 month, that bill was $3,000.00. Another was $1800.00. These are preventable. If you leave your home for an extended time you may want to consider turning your water

Other Issues:
Dogs off leash - Please keep your dogs in control. We have had complaints of dogs running loose.
Speed on our roads Ð 25 mph or less.

New Construction: The Stuart home on Escalante is in works.
If you have plans to do anything to the outside of your home, you need to run it by the board for approval.
This includes paint, fences, sheds and roofs.

Composting:
A homeowner shared a source for a composting company that will bring everything you need in order to compost at home. The company is Evergreen Zero Waste. 970-987-3140. www.evergreenzerowaste.com. If you call and sign up, please tell them you are part of our subdivision.

Board Member opening:
Barb and Pat are re-elected to the board.

Homeowners express interest in the pot luck again:
We told them to let the board know the plan and we will post it in the minutes and/or send out a constant contact message. Drawing for one-year dues - Harvey Finn winner.

The meeting is adjourned at 7:48.
Meeting is at April 15, 2019 at Susan Zimmer's home.
