Aspen Mesa Homeowners Annual Meeting:
April 20, 2020

Meeting called to order at 7:03. pm.

Meeting via Zoom: In attendance: Tom Fisher, Mark Walker, Barbara Brett, Pat Henry, Mary Leslie, Susan Zimmer, Danny Popish, Lu Ann Craig.

Financial Report:
We have $153,723.85 in the bank.
We have $11,892.46 in receivables due.
We have quite a few past due accounts.
A motion was put forth and approved to waive all late fees from last quarter and going forward until things are better.

Water:
EPC Water Contract reviewed and approved.

A new pressure release valve was installed at the corner of Caballo.
We had a fire hydrant repair at the bottom of Alto due to an accident involving a resident.

Back-Flow:
We will be putting off the testing start date. We are hopeful for June, but we do not know yet. We will let homeowners know when the testing will begin via a constant contact e-mail.

Bear Proof Trash Cans:
Valley Garbage did not approve the 4-buckle system presented by Roaring Fork Valley Bear Coalition. They presented some alternate methods that would cost the association money. We felt it was best to wait and see what the county requires the garbage company to do. Once that is established we can proceed with what is necessary to protect our bears.
Roaring Fork Bear Coalition would like to discuss with the trash company once restrictions loosen up.

Architectural Control Guidelines:
We are reviewing these guidelines to make sure they are up to date.

New items:
"Non-Street legal vehicles" are not allowed on Eagle County roads. We have seen an increase in high speed razor and 4-wheeler activity on our roads, as well as non-street legal dirt bikes. We have had complaints of these vehicles coming in from other subdivisions as well. We will be posting signs at the 3 entrances to Aspen Mesa Estates stating that these vehicles are not allowed.

Dogs:

Lots of complaints about people not picking up their dog's mess and leaving that in your neighbor's yard. Please also keep your dogs on a leash while walking in the subdivision unless the dog is strictly under voice command. There are also a few complaints of a couple of dogs that are continuously running loose. No one wants your dog's mess in their yard! Please pick up your dog's mess and be cautious to prevent your dogs from running at large. It is dangerous for your dogs and for drivers trying to avoid them in the road.

Next meeting will be June 1, 2020. Location is TBD.
Meeting adjourned at 7:51 pm
