Aspen Mesa Estates HOA Special Meeting:
February 22, 2021

Meeting called to order at 7:00pm.

In attendance: Pat Henry, Mark Walker, Barbara Brett, Daniel Popish, Mary Leslie, Stephanie Williams, LuAnn Craig, John Lassalette, Hutch Foster


Financial Report:
We have $205,062.69 in the bank.
$13,733.10 in accounts receivables.
Total accounts payable $1,253.11
$294,051. 46 HOA Total Assessments.

New Construction (ACC):
Hutch Foster will have his construction plans ready for review in several weeks. Ryan Watts construction plans are being circulated among the ACC members at this time.
The lot on Caballo has not submitted paperwork as yet.
Pat Henry's solar panels have been approved by the ACC. The landscaping to shield the panels will be in place before the panels are installed.

Water lines:
The water break on Escalante was repaired on Thursday, February 18. Hughes Construction and EPC repaired it.
One of the three booster pumps needs a new transducer which caused a loss of pressure in the upper loop. Pressure was restored by taking that pump off line. Once the third pump is fixed, it will go back on line.
It was mentioned that if anyone in the subdivision sees water bubbling out of the ground, call a board member. It means there is a water leak. EPC will be notified and get it fixed. We want to thank Tom Shutley for noticing and reporting the leak on Escalante last week. .

Water Alarm system update:
The new alarm system is all online and working fine.

Back Flow:
Because of Covid 19 we haven't finished inspecting all the backflow devices. Every home must have their backflow devices inspected for the State of Colorado yearly. We will start pushing to get this completed again in June and will target to be finished by August.

Ascendigo:
Even though Ascendigo is honorable endeavor, the Board discussed their concerns about water usage, light pollution, etc. Their main concern was about water. They are going to discuss with Gay Lewis about water rights on Missouri Heights and David Aguilar about what MoH is doing concerning Ascendigo. .

Chickens:
After getting legal advice it was determined a homeowner must follow all HUD and ADA guidelines to provide an accommodation request for support or service animals that are normally not approved by the HOA.
