Aspen Mesa Estates HOA Meeting:
November 7, 2022

Meeting at Mark Walkers home, called to order 7:02 pm

In attendance: Barbara Brett, Joe Nuzzarello, Susan Zimmer, Mark Walker, Mary Leslie, Stephanie Williams, Danny Popish.

We have a guest Kurt Weisenborn - He is present to learn about the new build on Caballo. The ground work is taking place for the new home. Excavation, leveling, and driveway construction is currently taking place.

Financial Report:
We have $262,321.24 in the bank.
We have $20,119.29 in receivables due and all bills are paid..

Water Bills:
We have a number of homeowners that refuse to pay their water bill. Barbara will call them.

Road Signage:
Look for new signs to help our effort to slow people down. We really don't want to have to put speed humps in, but if people cannot drive slowly in the neighborhood we will. If you are in our neighborhood, you are home so be respectful to your fellow neighbors and SLOW DOWN!

Delinquent Homeowners and Trash Service:
We have repeat offenders that choose to pay their bills late. We are considering a permanent ban from participating in the association trash service and special rate if you do not pay your bills on time. More to follow on this.

Fire Hydrants:  
John McDermott will be putting up the flags on the hydrants for the winter. We will be looking at permanent flags.


Old Business

Water Tank Project:  
The crew is finishing up removing the tar from one side of the tank. The concrete underneath is compromised. The crew is confident that they have a solution to fix this with an epoxy concrete mixture that is for potable water. This project will be put on hold until early Spring.

Back Flow:  
We have the usual repeat offenders with the backflow inspections. Look for flyers taped to their mailboxes to remind them that they are NOT cooperating with the mandatory inspections required by the state of Colorado to keep our water system safe.

Flume:  
We still encourage homeowners to get this device. 15% discount if you use the word ASPENMESA at the checkout.

Annual meeting date is to be determined depending on room availability.
